Kyudo is a traditional Japanese sport, which is originated here in Nara. We practice it and train our body and mind. Herein, you can have a look at our competition results and photos of our activity. We hope you enjoy it.

About NMU Kyudo Club

Style: Ogasawara-ryu

We are made up of 26 females and 25 males. Most of the members are beginners! Kind senior members teach them how to perform. Those you have practiced kyudo in high school are welcomed, of course! You definitely look cool in the uniform! We usually have practice from 16:30 on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. You can practice it in the beautiful big kyudojo near the campus. We have enjoyable events such as takoyaki party and one-day trip. We are trying hard to win the West-Japan Medical Students Athletic Meet and West-Japan Nursing Students Athletic Meet. ‘The proof of the pudding is in the eating.’ You cannot appreciate how enjoyable kyudo is until you try it! We are all waiting for you to join us!
